On vocal and choral preparation of student-actors

Abstract

The main concern of the article is how to improve music education of the present students who are training in «Performing arts». The conclusions are drawn on the basis of the author`s experience as a teacher — a work of a teacher of several disciplines of musical education within 20 years represents undoubted interest for actors and directors occupied in the course of training of future actors and directors of the drama, being trained at departments and faculties of performing arts and direction of higher educational institutions. Discussing the principles of training of future actors of choral and ensemble singing, the author refers to experience and technique of work of one of the renowned theatrical teachers — national actor of Russia, professor Zinoviy Yakovlevich Korogodsky.
