Abstract

Th e article deals with the work of the fencing director in the opera theatre. The object of research is to reveal the specifi city of this work, which infl uences the technical equipment of a scene and the main art problem. The purpose of the work is to reveal the characteristics of the fencing scenes in the opera theatre for the further analysis. The given work has proved this subject to be very relevant, that allows to hope for its further development.
