The trends of French Baroque organ building in the 17th — beginning of the 18th centuries
Abstract
This article is devoted to an analysis of French organ building principles at the first part of the Baroque. The author analyses organ dispositions which are typical for this period and reveals principal organ-building evolution trends in France by 18th century. Special attention is drawn to the question of new registers and mechanisms.
