Actor supervision in the context of modern professional requirements
Abstract
The article covers some issues concerning an actor’s performing. The renowned masters of the scene, namely M. S. Schepkin, B. V. Schukin, etc., extensively and effectively employed the method of supervision. The article examines some views on this problem by leading modern directors and teachers, such as L. A. Dodin, P. N. Fomenko, V. M. Filshtinsky, etc. Actor supervision is approached as an effective way of challenging the stereotypes, promoting the creativity, and it helps “to be another person, remaining yourself ”
